I want to welcome everyone back to Pennoyer. I had a very restful and enjoyable summer vacation, and I hope that all of the students had a chance to have fun and relax these past two months. I am looking forward to a great academic year. Each one of you will be learning about some new subject areas of science this year – sixth grade students will be learning about the earth and its resources; seventh grade students will be learning about cells and heredity; and, eighth grade students will be learning about chemistry and physics. I know that all of you will have a very successful school year.
